Pulev has been mandatory for Chisora for a while but he chose to face bums like Joey Abell instead. So I think it's quite clear who was more hesitant to take the fight.
Yeah, Pulev was hesitant to fight for a worthless belt he had vacated not too long ago.

The ****** EBU belt has nothing to do with anything. Pulev would have gladly fought Chisora. He is not afraid of anyone, he was calling out Haye last summer when he was looking for an opponent for his eliminator (lucky thing Haye didn't play ball, he is the only guy other than Wlad I wouldn't be confident in picking Pulev against).

Pulev dropped the European title rather than face his mandatory, Chisora.

He then became mandatory himself and still refused to face Chisora.

Calling out Haye...lol yeah easy to call for a fight you know has no possibility of taking place.

Nice try, but Pulev vacated the EBU belt around the time when Chisora was busy getting his a.ss kicked by Haye, so no, he was never Pulev's mandatory.

Anyway, hardly proof that he ducked Chisora. I just don't see how a guy who was willing to fight Wilder, Fury, Haye or Adamek would do that.

"Willing to fight" - what does that even mean? Anyone can say they're willing to fight someone, doesn't mean they actually are.

Chisora has actually fought Haye, Vitali Klitschko, Fury, Helenius etc. The proof is in the pudding.

So why exactly would he want "no part" of Pulev? Which was the original idiotic post by BattlingNelson that I took issue with.

I'm not saying Chisora wants no part of Pulev, but Pulev isn't ducking Chisora, either.

And as I have said in other threads, Pulev was BEGGING the other contenders to fight him in his IBF final eliminator for months. He called out everyone and their kid brother, and finally Tony Thompson stepped up to the plate.

                  .
So why did he fight Joey Abell instead of Chisora? Lets face it, he **** the bed against Thompson and his handlers didn't want a risky fight with a mando shot at Wladimir in the bag.

He didn't fight Abell "instead of Chisora". He hoped to fight Wlad next after Thompson, but when it became obvious that Wlad (for some mysterious reason) was leaning towards his other mandatory Leapai, he took a short notice stay busy fight with Abell.

Really? I could have sworn I posted a link that explicitly stated that there was negotiations.

Are you ******? He chose Fury instead. Surely that means that he wanted none of Pulev.
