that being said there is a long way between "good shape" and world class athlete.

It's not like the guy has any job or anything, there is no reason why he can't train and get into world class athlete shape, if he did that he'd be a true force imo.
It's all about motivation, maybe he lacks it and it will cause him to unravel at the highest level.

All that aside, I think Fury is one of the top heavies on the planet, he hits hard enough, has decent skills and a real fighting heart. His jab has come a long way and his uppercuts are pretty good. I just wish he developed better punch selection and worked on his footwork. Then again, from what he says, I just don't think he wants to be a better technician, he just wants to get himself into a tear up, which will have him stopped by Wlad and Wilder.

Awesome. Neither guy is that good, but I still love the fight. Literally wouldn't be surprised by anything, the two could call off the fight before the ring walks and start having sex with each other and I wouldn't be surprised.

I wouldn't think so. First fight was a stinker - I'd imagine it doing a max of 10k - and that's with hughie, cleverly, buglioni, skeete et al on the card as well.

yeah, but they did that the first time as well and it just ended up being boring.

As expected, Chisora wanted none of Pulev.

Fury is a better fighter and its a bigger money fight.

Pulev is a big stiff European bum who is waiting to cash out against Wladimir.

Not that surprising considering Fury is a much bigger payday, but if it was Pulev who chose to fight someone other than Chisora, people would be all like "the euro bum is scared sh.itless of Chisora"...

Pulev is definitely a hard luck guy. He is the very definition of "high risk, low reward", and at 32 (soon 33) he is not the youngest. His prime might end before he gets the chance to make an impact.

Big stiff European bum? You say that based on his last fight which he took on short notice? Have you even seen other fights of him?

Fury a better fighter? On what planet? Because on this one Fury needed a gift against John McDermott and got knocked down and nearly out by a 40 year old blown up cruiserweight.
