I think Herrera won but wasn't able to impress the judges.

    Still, if a fighter can't punch...it means he doesn't deserve a decision?

How did Herrera "clearly" win? Which 7 rounds did Herrera "clearly" win?

I see 30% (almost) of Boxing writers didn't score it for Herrera. That's interesting that's the first time I've read that.

I wonder what the average scorecards were either way for this fight because I'm going to doubt that very many were wide either way.
Nobody said it was a rout for Herrera, you must have made that up. There was a thread here with poster scores, mostly Herrera by 2 or 4 points. But if the official winner gets 12% of the popular vote you're pretty much in robbery territory. Again, your 5-2 for Garcia after 7 will not find many backers outside of PR

Well if it's being considered a "robbery" and a "clear victory" then I'm expecting a dominant performance by one of the fighters which simply isn't what happened.

I've not seen the thread for the scores but if that's true what you're saying about mostly being by 2 points and 4 points with the amount of close rounds how can the fight be a robbery?

I couldn't care less what the votes are on here were. Almost 30% of actual writers didn't score it for Herrera.

And again, like I said, my 5-2 for Garcia after 7 could easily have been the exact opposite. 4-3 is more than respectable for the first 7 and that would have made it a draw.

I.e, the fight was close and could have gone either way or been a draw.

Yeah, 70% of people thought Herrera won. That does surprise me at all. But I can imagine most of those cards are close cards with 2,3,4 points in it that easily have been the other way considering the amount of swing rounds in the fight which frankly is almost every round of the fight.

A close fight can be a robbery just needs to be clear enough. Here 8-4 was the most popular score, not that close though.

Of the 12% that went for Garcia, maybe half were employees of The Ring. Take out these shills and that clown Lyle, and barely anyone had it for Danny

One the those 12% posts on CHB (obviously the one from Check hook boxing) he says that he scored it for Herrera, and told fightscorecollector he scored it for Herrera, but somehow got put down as giving it to Garcia. his score was 116-112

I think that puts it down to 10% for Garcia or something?

8-4 might have been the most popular score but like I just said there is no doubt that atleast two of the rounds that were scored to Herrera could easily have gone the other way so that's a draw there. I don't see how that's a robbery. And also like I just said I don't care less about what the scores are "here". "Here" the number of people don't even know how to score a fight.

Whatever conspiracy you have, the fact is almost 30% of the writers didn't have Herrera winning the fight.

It was a close fight, close but clear (in terms of the victor).

Looks pretty conclusive to me. The extremely large majority of the viewers of this fight felt that there was a clear winner.

There should at least be a rematch or Herrera should fight for the vacant title if Garcia moves up.

Should be a rematch. Stop crying about Lucas and start crying about Herrera.
