I hope this fight humbles garcia. He would get schooled by mayweather and pacquiao.
How did you score Garcia vs Herrera?

LOL. Cut that **** out man. He boxed well using his jab effectively and smothered Danny's offense. Danny got beat tonight. Instead of trying to shove it under the rug, as a fan you should be telling him to work on his inside game and get better. You're doing him no favors.Comment

Disliking a fighter is not a good reason to suddenly ignore reality and just randomly give the other guy the win.Comment

The best best head snapping punches of the fight were landed by Herrera. Garcia's power punches in general did have more power, but they rarely landed, and most of them were not clean.
There were so many replays that were meant to showcase Gacia's punches, but most of them just showed Herrera blocking and even countering them.
Also Herrera went to the body a lot and those are much harder shots for the judges to see especially when most of them were jabs.Comment

No way you can give Garcia the win, just no way. He was getting backed up all night and clearly outlanded, with better punches too. 200+ punches (150 power) landed by Garcia? No possible way. He was missing everything he threw. Just look at the combo he threw in the 11th when he had him against the ropes, he didnt land 1 punch, meanwhile the crowed went wildComment

I have beat this idea to death, but different judges like different things. Both guys clearly won 4 rounds, and the other 4 were extremely close. It is very conceivable that you scored all four of the rounds for the style you preferred whether that was Herrera's volume or Garcia's power. Remember boxing is subjective and in a fight with so many very close rounds there isn't necessarily a right or wrong in scoring. Clearly 2 of the judges liked what Garcia did in those rounds. However It also makes since that the people scored it 116-112 for Herrera because they like his volume and boxing in those close rounds.Last edited by turkas; 03-16-2014, 12:12 AM.Comment

Clearly 2 of the judges liked what Garcia did in those rounds, the same with Adam.
