LOL. Cut that **** out man. He boxed well using his jab effectively and smothered Danny's offense. Danny got beat tonight. Instead of trying to shove it under the rug, as a fan you should be telling him to work on his inside game and get better. You're doing him no favors.

So you didn't give him the win because you didn't like his style? Guess what, that doesn't matter. He was the more effective fighter, no matter what his style.

Disliking a fighter is not a good reason to suddenly ignore reality and just randomly give the other guy the win.

However if the judges felt those were in fact scoring blows the fight is very close. That is what it comes down, out of the three people who scored the fight one scored it even so he liked the jabs and power shots equally, and the other two liked the power shots that they felt Garcia landed (which is open for interpretation).

Also Herrera went to the body a lot and those are much harder shots for the judges to see especially when most of them were jabs.

No way you can give Garcia the win, just no way. He was getting backed up all night and clearly outlanded, with better punches too. 200+ punches (150 power) landed by Garcia? No possible way. He was missing everything he threw. Just look at the combo he threw in the 11th when he had him against the ropes, he didnt land 1 punch, meanwhile the crowed went wild

I have beat this idea to death, but different judges like different things. Both guys clearly won 4 rounds, and the other 4 were extremely close. It is very conceivable that you scored all four of the rounds for the style you preferred whether that was Herrera's volume or Garcia's power. Remember boxing is subjective and in a fight with so many very close rounds there isn't necessarily a right or wrong in scoring. Clearly 2 of the judges liked what Garcia did in those rounds. However It also makes since that the people scored it 116-112 for Herrera because they like his volume and boxing in those close rounds.

7-5 herrera a lot of close rounds, there were like 4 rounds that herrera won convincingly.

at the very least fight was a draw

i guess that provo fight came back to for its loss.

You made it too complicated. PR has few champions now (I'm not sure how many tbh) and Garcia was the closest thing they had to a PR champ in tonight's fight against a Mexican in PR......that pretty much sums up the fight.
