The right hand landed as well as the left, but people will keep shouting fixed I guess.
Like I said in another thread about this.
That picture is deceiving, the right didn't land. If you watch the replays in slow motion you can see it's just the slappy left hand to the temple that lands, he's already on his way down when the right is thrown and blocked, it may have touched him on his way down but no possible damage done with it.

    • It still makes no sense for Malik Scott to throw the fight. None. It does nothing for Wilder to score a first rd KO against Malik Scott. Nothing. There is no reward.

The punches landed. Lesser shots have put guys down before. Like I said earlier, Guerrero vs Berto, a glancing shot behind the ear from feather fisted Guerrero clearly put Berto down and had him hurt. SOmetimes you hit the sweet spot, and when a guy like Wilder hits you in that spot it's not going to matter if he turned the punch over or not.

Should Malik Scott's license be revoked after that performance against Deontay Wilder? Punch didn't land, he stayed down for 10 count

Check this photo of Malik Scott training:

What career? He's not been particularly active, and hasn't mixed it with many contenders. This loss doesn't really affect his prospects - he was never going to reach world level - and he'll still get plenty of fringe-level pay days.

          • Mega dive.. I knew this would happen..

You only have to look at the Chisora fight where he stayed down and got counted out..

              • Let Deontay Wilder "tap" you on the side of the head with the left hook (not to mention the right that -did- clearly land) and then tell me the fight was fixed.

                Jesus christ, you guys....

That right would break anyones guard up in here..

and the left would make them crumple like a marionette with the strings cut.

                  lol. This is amazing
