Thurman is the top contender at 147, he's the goods. Everyone from 140-147 not named Floyd/Manny should be very cautious of being matched up with him.

Three years ago, Amir would have wiped the floor with Thurman, but now it's a 50/50 fight if Amir is on his game Imo.

Ive noticed finding a dance partner for Thurman has been abit tough, but all the names they mentioned seem to be in the same "What do I really gain from this fight" boat. Paulie, The Ghost, Khan, Chino, Machine etc are all coming back from big fights or Mayweather, potential Mayweather fights and really see this as a step BACK. It would be more of a gatekeeper fight and is a high risk low reward situation for each of them.

Why are people so against Khan vs Collazo? It's a good fight. People acting like Collazo is not a huge step up from Molina and Diaz, who Khan struggled with BTW.

I'm okay with Khan vs Collazo, not even a Khan fan either, or support him, he's annoying actually.

I think that analysis is somewhat suspect, to say the least

Khan's pattern of boxing has changed significantly since getting floored became a habit. At best, a fight between Khan and Thurman would be 70\30 and only that high because Khan can run really fast in the ring and Thurman would have to catch-up to him for the final coup de grâce.

makes perfect sense for Khan. Hes getting used to 147 and this would be his toughest fight since garcia.

Is Collazo represented by Haymon? If not I think Khan will say Collazo doesn't bring the $$. Khan thinks he's big **** right now despite performances since Garcia.

I believe Collazo signed to Haymon in the days following the Ortiz KO.
