What is sad about the heavyweight division is that none of the top fighters are willing to fight each other. Pulev, Adamek, Fury, Wilder, Jennings, Povetkin and Helenius are supposedly among the top fighters in the division and none are willing to fight each other because they are all afraid they will lose their place in line to fight for a championship when Wladimir Klithschko retires. Half of these guys were *****i.ng when they weren't chosen to fight for the vacant title when Vitaly retired. However, Arreola and Stiverne were the only top fighters willing to fight each other, so a rematch between them for the vacant championship was the only fight that made sense. All these other guys, or their management team, are too afraid to risk a loss, so they continue to degrade the heavyweight division by fighting weak opposition.
in 12 hours time, Deontay Wilder becomes "legit"

You're a under rated poster on here.I had originally thought Mike Perez was the best weapon against Deontay, but after his poor showing against Takam, he seems to be mentally not the same fighter anymore. Wilder might make easy work of him.
Fury would be a huge event for the fans, but I don't see it lasting long. If Wilder landed the same punch that Cunningham did, Fury wouldn't get up again. The speed difference would be very visible in this fight. It would come down to who lands first between these big guys, and Wilder would certainly land first.
We should see more of Deontay's ability tonight. If he does a good job on Scott, a Wilder vs. Chisora fight will be in big demand.
Just thought I'd let ya'll know.Last edited by Sweet Pea 50; 03-15-2014, 04:20 PM.Comment

Adamek fought Vitali for the WBC title and got blasted into pieces, humiliated in front of his Polish fans. What is sad about the heavyweight division is that none of the top fighters are willing to fight each other. Pulev has done plenty enough to merit a title shot, including beating the previously undefeated giant Alex Ustinov.
Now he has to fight Chisora as a mandatory while Wlad fights Leapai.
He's getting ****ed over big time.Last edited by Ulver; 03-15-2014, 04:39 PM.Comment

Youre being a little too harsh towards Perez and maybe not giving Takam enough credit.Originally posted by valeroI had originally thought Mike Perez was the best weapon against Deontay, but after his poor showing against Takam, he seems to be mentally not the same fighter anymore. Who's to say Perez can't recover mentally? Assuming that's what is wrong with him. Remember he took the fight with Takam on a quick turn around.

Woah, way too big a challenge.
From all indications, Scott is gonna come in and lay down tonight because the Yank powers that be, with Seth Mitchell destroyed, have decided that Wilder is their man.
Scott will likely get a little extra for finding a nice place to land on the mat to keep the "perfect KO record" intact.
What a joke. Wilder is a BUM and eventually will be exposed as Mitchell was.Comment
