That`s B.S,Cotto was clearly a lot faster in the Floyd fight then he was in the Pac fight. In the Pac fight he had no snap to his punches and also he couldn't take a punch well.

Great showing by Pac in this fight..Cotto has always been a sucker for straight punches and uppercuts..Pac abused Cotto in this fight..

Oh, most definitely. Of course he does. He still has to diet for 154 as well. But the surplus to deficit ratio in his diet during camp is soooo much different than if he had to, say, make a 145 catch weight. People understate the idea behind the catchweight. Sure, he may have weighed 146 for Clottey or what ever, but that is just how the cookie crumbled. He had leeway. He trained as normal, and thats where his weight landed.

However, with a 145 catch there is no leeway. Now he is FORCED to go on a stricker plan in order to ENSURE he makes 145, whereas previously he'd have been comfortable in doing so "on accident" while making 147.

That's the difference here. and 145/154 is almost a 10lbs difference. So I'd imagine he had a pretty damn good diet in camp. Maybe high protein, moderate carb and calories as opposed to caloric deficit. It's a huge difference.

Cotto 'felt' better against Floyd despite "looking" better against Pacquiao. Boxing isn't a fitness show. Fitness models and bodybuilders look amazing on stage, but little do people know they are on the verge of killing over.

Personally, I think Cotto performed better against Floyd partially because he felt better physically but mostly because Floyd fights ina way that Cotto is more comfortable against.

pac 2001, as a last minute replacement when champion ledwaba's opponent pulled out.

pac didn't have a full training camp. look at the stamina, speed, power and work rate.

Even before Pacquiao hooked up with Ariza Pac back then,he was working with a conditioning coach that took roids.Even Freddie roach said so.Pac could have been on roids back then also. Also Freddie Roach said Alex Ariza was giving Pac-juice su****ious drinks.

that's what the ped testing was all about.

you can argue pac was on roids or scared or tests or whatever.

but floyd asked for those because he was scared.
First of all it was Floyd senior`s idea to Floyd to get him to ask for Pacquiao to agree to random drug testing,And Floyd was willing to agree to the same test.Secondly you would have to be a idiot to fight someone who you suspected of taking roids.

cotto has leeway, trains how he wants, lands where he lands in weight, losing a candy bar here or there, oh sht, things are getting serious, he's drained now

You know what's funny I just watched that fight last weekend and thought "Damn Pac looks good" but saw enough flaws that Floyd would exploit.
