Cotto was able to handle a lot of punches from a loaded glove Margarito. It took Margarito a large accumulation of punches to put Cotto down.Cotto doesn't have a iron chin but he doesnt have a soft chin either.

Also Cotto is horrible against southpaw. That also helps. Watch Martinez dispatch Cotto.

False. The Cotto that fought Pac was on a caloric deficit. The Cotto that fought Mayweather was able to maintain a calorie surplus as well as consume more carbohydrates during camp.

so you're saying Cotto was lying when he was asked moments after the weigh in that making 145 bothered him? to paraphrase his answer, "no, my strength will be enough".

                Couldn't see 4 round Judah's straight left's from a mile so he wouldn't see Pac's

I would love to see a rematch at 154lbs.

So what about Canelo that fought Floyd? was he tired and drained? he walks around at the 180s, while Cotto only goes up to 165 tops.

De La Hoya, in the pre fight hype and the post fight interview, claimed the weight was not an issue. He hadn't made 147 in 9 years, also Roach and Ariza in the prefight hype predicted he'd be weight drained because Ariza supposedly saw him gasping for air after running one lap, and, Roach saw him using IV's right before the fight. DLH was also 146lbs at the weigh in, and gained 1lb on fight night, unofficially coming in at 147 in the ring.

But DLH said the weight was not an issue.

Do you believe that the weight was not an issue? Do you believe any fighter when they say weight was not an issue? Very few fighters admit this, probably to avoid backlash from media and fans calling them "sore loser" or looking like they're making excuses.
