Personally I think this will be an exciting fight.

JuanMa shouldn't even be fighting this weekend. He might get hurt. Ponce hasn't declined like he has.
Exactly. I hope he does not receive any more neurological damage than I think he already has. This is one of those very few rematches where it is hard to imagine the original winner, winning the rematch. I think Ponce may stop him unless JuanMa has one final surge in him. I just don't want to see JuanMa get seriously hurt in future fights or this one.

Here's an excerpt from an article I just read:

"This is the biggest fight of my career,'' Lopez, 30, said. “We both need to win this fight. This is the last lap of my career. If I lose, that could be the end of my career, even though I don't want my career to end in defeat. I win this fight, I can go on to bigger and better things."

Lopez seems to understand he's in the twilight of his career. What scares me is that he's talking about continuing if he wins. I guess it's typical fighter talk. It might be best if Ponce takes him out early and spares him further damage.

JuanMa should be able to last the distance and win a close points victory.

I don't have a problem with what he said...He didn't say anything crazy. Everything Freddy said was pretty accurate. I mean he can't fight for him.

              Ponce should take this one.

There's a reason Pedro Diaz didn't want to train JuanMa.
