Fights That Made NSB Haters Looking Like Fools

Amir Khan fighting Maidana....everyone said he would duck him, fought the man and even dropped him...afterwards Maidana was "always a slow club fighter"

Mayweather fighting Mosley....everyone said he would never fight Mosley and always ducked him, dominated the man...afterwards Mosley was an "old man"

Rigondeaux schooling Nonito....this was excellent, before hand everyone was "rigo is overrated, nonito will hurt him"...after Nonito was schooled for 12 rounds, it was "rigo is a boring runner" lmao

Canelo fighting Trout - I didn't think Canelo would fight Trout either and even though the whole Texas thing was some BS...Canelo still did what everybody expected him not to do

Pac vs Marquez 5...Pacquiao was beheaded with a punch that was thrown over n over but somehow it was a "lucky punch" afterwards...lmfao

I agree with all but the first two. Amir barely escaped with his life, Maidana gets more respect for that fight than Amir, amir never has been and never will be great.

And Mosley was over the hill when Floyd beat him, sure its still a good win because he wasn't that gone, but it wasn't a prime mosley, Floyd did what he was supposed to do.

I'll continue to remind everyone everytime this is brought up:

Rigondeaux/Donaire was almost 50-50 on NSB. I think it ballooned to 55-45 on fight week.

Hell yea! Mayweather beating a 39 year old Mosley that was coming off a 17 month lay-off was a great win for Mayweather

It's a much better example than most of these.

Maidana shouldn't get more respect for that fight than Khan. I don't care what you think about Khan, he beat Mariana that night legitimately.

                    Floyd-Margarito

when Margarito was ranked #1 at 147 and looking like a beast, had people calling him boxing's most feared man, Floyd took him on, turned the tables on him by outworking him, survived a strong Margarito rally in the 2nd half of the fight, dug deep into his own reservoir of guts at the end of the fight, and earned a clear points win to take Margarito's title

                    Floyd-Cotto

Cotto was undefeated and riding high, ranked #1 at 147, but Floyd took everything Cotto could hit him with, busted him up, made him run, and forced him to take 2 knees and quit for a great 11th rd TKO

                    Floyd-Pac

Pac looked better here than he had in yrs, but Floyd dropped him with a single right hand in the 3rd rd, survived a violent Pac assault which included Floyd suffering a KD himself in the 5th rd, and when it looked like Pac was approaching a KO, Floyd shocked him with a perfectly timed right hand to earn a brilliant surprise KO victory in 6

the haters said Floyd would duck these fights at the time
but Floyd gave the fans what they wanted and fought them
Floyd made 0 excuses, he just got in the ring and did it
Floyd has beaten the best fighters at 147 lbs when he needed to
Floyd's efforts in fighting and winning these fights can't be ignored
the haters looked foolish when Floyd earned these victories in the ring
