I would LMAO if Mikey gets beat by Uchiyama. Nothing personal against him. I'd just like to see this resistance towards Gamboa come to a fiery end. (And I would love to see Arum experience another JuanMa moment. lol)

I only know Uchiyama on paper. Garcia I've seen fight many times. Obviously I can't give a real opinion. Uchiyama has been highly regarded at 130 for a while now, and many seem to think he deserves it.

This is no stay busy fight. It could be the toughest test of Garcia's career. Uchiyama is an undefeated knockout artist who pressures his opponents and has carved out a place as the top 130 lb fighter in the world. It is arguably a tougher fight than Gamboa. Rankings wise, it is certainly more significant.

Bobby disappoints once again. He did this crap to Gamboa in the past, well before the Rios' fiasco-- fucking Gamboa out of a payday vs then undefeated Juanma Lopez. Salido (Gamboa's leftovers) was able to capitalize vs Lopez. .

Bob Arum is sticking it to Gamboa for pulling out on Rios,trying to sue Top RAnk and going to TMT. Arum knows this fight is Gamboa's way of shooting himself back into the mix, and he's not having that. It's that simple.

HBO is a big Gamboa fan, is that why they're paying $100K a fight?

HBO wants Gamboa because he's been on the network before and will be easy headliner, and their competition is putting out big names this summer.

Uchiyama makes sense to hardcore boxing fans, because lineal fights are becoming rare, but anybody who isn't a casual fan know that both are good fights.
