No one is perfect (God knows I'm not), so yes, I was willing to overlook the ex-wife issue, but one has to draw a line somewhere. Crippling men because of something this trivial is something I can't stomach.
Anyway, let's hope it's not true.Comment

Hmmm that case was extremely vague to me to be honest! Is the case public, did she actually say he punched and kicked her and how many times etc. all i can remember is he took her phone and there were no marks whatsoever on her. In the end there was a plea deal or something??? I just dont know and dont trust all these golddigging chicks and their statements to be honest. I honestly dont think he has the desire to start a boxing clinic on a female let alone his babymama. maybe their was some pushing and shoving you dont know and i dont know.
Same with 50's ex it was also something like kicking a door or shoving and they make it out like it was a 12 round fight with punches and kicks i dont buy it? atleast not without real proof, these women want money and they're willing to sacrifice their babies father for that...
Rihanna had real proof that i believe, without doubt...Comment

Never corny having brutality captured in a photograph. Swift is in that gif? All I ever see is Angel doing his thang.

After reading some of the comments, then going back and re-reading the story, two things stuck out; the article doesn't mention police or a formal investigation. Also the alleged victims retained a lawyer. Im not all that familiar with law so a poster who is can correct me if I am mistaken, but aren't kidnapping, assault, and attempted murder usually tried in court by a prosecutor not a personal lawyer? Can you sue for damages without prosecuting someone in a criminal court?Comment

Is it possible? Sure. Hell we currently have an NFL player on trial for murder and another (ex-NFL player) that is apparently a serial rapist. Just to name a few.
But I still kinda find this hard to believe. Would the highest paid professional athlete in the world really risk EVERYTHING over some stolen ***elry? And even if he was involved -- wouldn't you just pay some dudes off and have them go put in the beat down? Why would you even show your face there? Just to have the satisfaction of watching?
Idk, man. He really would be risking everything. The dude was just did a bid not too long ago. If this is legit and they end up with a case -- his boxing career would surely be over and there's no question he'd be back behind bars again. They had no qualms with locking him up before, and with a crime as violent as this -- yeah. He'd be in deeeeeeeep ****.Comment

In my country you can sue for damages AFTER the criminal trial. I don't know about the US, but I suspect it's the same there. After reading some of the comments, then going back and re-reading the story, two things stuck out; the article doesn't mention police or a formal investigation.
