Hell it might be; like I said if it true somebody else will take the fall for this.

At this point there is no trial/case so I will assume the accused party is innocent. However, IF this case is taken by the DA they will probably try to flip the guys that allegedly commited the kidnapping, attempted murder, etc into the prosecution witnesses against the guy who ordered it, which in this case it is alleged that it is Floyd. I doubt anyone would be willing to take a life sentence just to spare the leader.
