If Maravilla is anywhere near peak form, he takes it. But I am afraid he's past it. Cotto will take it.

Hard to root against either guy, anyway

      Just telling the truth.

I like Cotto but what was said was false.

A good tune-up fight for Martinez, he may K.O Canelo next, then end his glorious career with a win over GGG

Tough fight ahead for King Cotto but I know he will come on top. Miguel is the highest caliber Maravilla has fought. Time to get to work! Time to make history!

          Guerra Miguel! War Cotto!

Cotto is a good fighter, very popular, but acting like he was within a hair of beating Floyd or Manny is a fairly large exaggeration.

The biggest question about this fight isn't really about who will win, it's more about if Martinez is in good shape and healthy. If he is, he should be a fairly big favorite at 159 lbs.
            Yeah it was LoL

Just responding to poster who said he wasn't top 15 p4p. If cotto could still make 147 he would definitely give Garcia (arguably top 5 p4p) a run for his money

Big size difference! Cotto will have to bring his A game and hope that long inactivity, injuries and age will catch up to Martinez. Love both guys but more respect to Cotto for moving up and keep fighting high caliber guys.Martinez could have moved up and fight Ward but cannot blame him for taking what is the best financially especially his nearing the end of his career.

I rewatched Pacquiao-Cotto yesterday. If Pacquiao was hurting Cotto, imagine what Martinez will do. I would have thought that Cotto's punch resistance improved when he moved up to 154, but then Mayweather staggered him with a left uppercut. It will be interesting to see what happens once the first clean punch from Martinez lands.
