Floyd is not Broner trainer..He can give him pointers about the business of boxing..Mayweather is not going to give him tips about inside the square cir..That's Broners trainers job bro..His trainer needs to work on Broner's footwork and even some head movement..

It's clear Broner is nothing like Mayweather..He has a more offensive minded way of fighting..He needs head movement,a steady jab,and learn how to judge distance..AKA get in and out of range..Broner needs work, but the main thing is there for him which is a big plus..He has the dog in him and talent..He needs to combine that with the fundamentals of the game and Broner really could be a problem..

I'm afraid that Broner won't do it tho..That he'll let his ego win,and if Broner ego wins..Then the fighter fails..

I'm sure he did. AB got comfortable standing in front of guys, making them miss in the pocket, countering, and walking them down. But he's not unhittable. So I'm sure Floyd foresaw what could potentially could happen standing right in front of a puncher like Maidana. I'm also sure he saw the potential PPV bonanza that would have been Floyd-Broner potentially going out the window because of AB's technical flaws.

I can respect Broner wanting to fight "his way". What bothers me is his unwillingness to listen at all. Floyd may act like he is detached but he clearly listened to his uncle and other veterans and former world champions as a young fighter.

Good observation. A lotta people seem to think Floyd trains himself. But you can see the difference in mentality and game plan when his dad trains him opposed to his uncle. Floyd definitely listens more than people think he does.

not a big floyd fan but he is right. I'm sure this advice was given by his uncle (THE BLACK MAMBA) a long time ago.

Floyd said Broner is too stationary and needs to work on his movement more, but gave him props on an impressive outing, following the Paulie fight..so he's always said this and tried to give him pointers..nothing new. Broner is just too young minded to absorb anything right now..he needs to go through this lesson on his own, which is sad..because if he had the fundamentals, he'd really be great

That's what he did when his corner was trying to give him advice in the Maidana fight. Too proud or ****** to take advice.

So youre saying guerrero wasnt a cherry pick?

Broner should stop being immature and listen. Floyd is an ATGhanding out advise. Hopefully broner learned from lost
