First the Khan/Maidana farce and now this... I'm a Floyd fan, but even I am getting tired of his hypocrisy.
Then he wanted broner to fight khan?? Who's probably got the worse style for him!!

Nothing new here. Broner never listens to Floyd. Floyd wanted AB to go with him on the Canelo press tour and AB declined to go on tour with Lil Wayne and TI. I've heard AB respond in the past to Floyd's advice that he needs to know when to turn off the persona by saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." AB is his own man and not near the Floyd Mini Me that people make him out to be. It the truth was ever made public. The rewa reason it took so long for the Maidana fight to get done because they were trying to get AB to step aside. And finally, between Floyd, GBP, Showtime, Haymon, and likely a bigass check, AB let Floyd have Chino.

That said, I'm glad AB doesn't listen to Floyd. Because rarely does Floyd have his best interest at heart. Ever since AB started generating buzz, Floyd has been trying to get him on his undercards...to boost PPV sales. Floyd wanted AB to accompany him on the Canelo press tour...to get AB more expose for a future showdown. Floyd suggested that AB leave Maidana alone and move down...because Maidana is credible, easy money right now and is likely to lose his next time out regardless of who he fights. Floyd gives AB sound advice. But, his motives are shady as hell. I think AB knows this too. So while he idolizes Floyd, he's not totally blind either.

You don't get points for hugging or for faking you been hit in the ball and crawling around the canvas howling.

        Hopkins got out classed.

And the excuses to use to avoid the real threat.
So is pacquiao considered a cherry picker too since he fought some of the same opponents after Floyd did. Haters are the ones that make the excuses, not Floyd. Seems like every time he wins it's an excuse but let it be any other fighter and it's all good

No of course not, Pacquiao gets complete credit for all of those fights.

Mosley was back in his prime when Pacquiao fought him.

Hatton was the most feared man in boxing that Floyd had ran from all night.

Cotto was comfortable at the CW although he says he was comfortable at 154 that he fought Mayweather at.

A fighter with a wealth of experience and accomplishments took the time to share some of his wisdom with Broner, and yet all he could say was ''Nah big bro, I got this''. He deserved to get molly-whopped.

You should always admire people who have ambition, but in Broner's case, his assumed wannabe behavior just ends up looking pathetic and a bit sad. Maidana did what he could do in giving the wannabe a wake up call.
Broner may not be "special." But, he's a lot better than people, particularly those who dislike him give him credit for. He probably doesn't have a reign as P4P King in his future. But had he not gotten ahead of himself, settled in at lightweight, and made some title defenses, there's a difference perception of him today. Let's say after the Rees fight last year. He makes his mandatory against Figeroua and then fights one of the other lightweight beltholders. I think de does just fine in those fights and even shines. He went chasing events and paydays before he he had built a resume. And he got burned. That's life. There's no shortcuts to stardom.

In other words....Broner should of told Maidana,'my health come first'.

Exactly, Hopkins embarrassed himself that night and all that bull**** he pulled showed he wasn't very confident in winning to begin with or he would've fought instead of that terrible acting job to try and cost Calzaghe the fight.
Just like the Dawson fight, when Hopkins isn't having his way or thinks it might be tough he looks for an easy way out, but its considered veteran tactics when he does it for some reason.
