fixed my ass. manfredo fought well against an old guy. saying it was fixed is desrespectful to both fighters.

Saying a fight is fixed is uncalled for.. What's the point? He won leave it at that.. and all of ya know it... Give manfredo his props.

I don't think it was fixed but I found it amusing that there was a thread because I remember watching the second knockdown and the angle didn't really show it and the replay mad eit look like he might have missed him or grazed him at best. I just found it ironic there was a post about it

i think pemberton should retire.. he was a B fighter.. lets be honest.. he was very slow in that fight.. if u ask me.. manfredo winning is good for boxing.. hes young and hell prolly sell alot of tickets

I agree with you completely. How old is Pemberton? I knew he was getting KOed tonite. Plus Manfredo Jr. has just benifited a great deal from being under Roach.

** I don't recall anyone saying he did. Scott did a credible job of fighting back and landed some good power on Lacy before the KD. Lacy was just too overwhelming.

On paper one would expect more of a scrap than a blowout against Manfredo who had his hands full against the featherfisted Mora. Pemberton should have quite a bit more power than Mora and certainly has more experience against bigger world class opposition. He is pretty old for a fighter though, and maybe age finally showed up. Only he knows.
