Early stoppage ?

Good stoppage. Angulo lost damn near every round, was getting hurt over and over again. He wasn't doing anything to Canelo, who was landing at will.

Gotta say Canelo looked strong a hell tonight.

well i guess it was the time of the stoppage it could have been a round eariler or at the end of the round.

But IMO if i were in Perros corner i would have stopped it earlier

Angulo was right tho. Weeks didn't stop the lara fight when Angulo had a ****ing golf ball on his eye yet he stops this fight here.

Such a weird fight Angulo was pity pat punching from the start throughout then that anti climactic stoppage on a guy who had all his senses, and didn't look hurt was just bizarre all around.

Meh. It would have been a good finish but more than likely Angulo just ends up eating a lot more power punches and loses the final three rounds.

The fight could have kept going for sure. Based on what we as fans believe is a good stoppage, it was too soon.

However, maybe fights should get stopped like this more often. Why let a guy keep getting pounded on and increase the risk for brain injury?

I think Angulo's corner would have stopped the fight at the end of the round anyway.

There was no point in it continuing. Angulo was doing nothing and getting punished for it.
