Maybe us as hardcore fans and with some boxing experience understand just how much punishment this guys really take and start to be a little more sensitive about watching a beat down.

But i think the general public thinks that as long as one is standing he has a chance of a lost bullet or something like that.

IMO it was a good stoppage it was just the moment that it was weird, i think Toney maybe tought that angulo was out when his head snapped back so hard.

I agree with the stoppage. Normally I wouldnt but you have to do more than be the meat bag in a rocky movie for 10 rounds. At no point did Angulo have control, was in control, or look like he was going to take control . So we are basically just watching a guy get his **** beat in for two more rounds.

Bad stoppage but I can understand why he stopped it. I mean Without a ko which I thought was possible due to Nelo gasing out, Angulo had no chance and even in the 10th Nelo punches had more pop. Also Angulo was taking way to much punishment

Exactly, it was about the accumulation.

I have no problem with the stoppage but I would have been fine with the ref letting the fight continue. No problem either way.

Was a bit surprised at first but that punch was nasty and the guy didn't need more punishment. Had one close round and that's it. Good stoppage.

Taking as a whole and looking at the big picture it wasn't a bad stoppage.

However, stopping it at that particular moment was IMO.

I was pulling for Angulo and if I had to describe the stoppage the word I'd use is appropriate. Wasn't good or bad, just appropriate.

Main problem with the stoppage was that it was arbitrary. Weeks not a doctor. Why stop it at that moment, rather than in any other the other rounds where Angullo was taking the same kind of punches.

And remember recently when he wouldn't stop the Ruslan-Alvarado fight unless Mike agreed? So why pull the rug out from Angullo right then when he was there, moving forward, and wanting to fight on?

I don't know, has Tony Weeks been vacationing in the UK recently?
