You know what I'm talking about.

No one is buying up these tickets to see Floyd, the buys are all coming from the Maidana fan base and from the rabid Takashi Miura fans who care more about his fight with Mares on the undercard than they do about the main event.

Check May Guerrero and see how the tickets moved on the first day.. I'll wait.
This fight is moving partially because of Madaina's prior performance but that still wouldnt be enough. Floyd's fight with Canelo was an ATG performance. This little man stood in the pocket and walked this big giant down. Millions of casual fans saw it, and probably didnt even know boxing could be executed at that level. I always felt that if Floyd did the right thing, on the right stage, that it may have this affect. Marcos is barely known, and look at how much attention Floyd is getting for this fight.

Do you think Marcos can walk down Canelo like Floyd did? Floyd was buckling Canelo with stiff jabs in the fourth round right before the lowblow. Ever since Floyd got out of jail he has been way bigger and stronger. Marcos is smaller, weaker, slower than Canelo. Floyd will be too big, strong, aggressive, and physical for Marcos. It will be like the Canelo fight with even LESS movement, and a less durable man on the other side of Next Gen Floyd's punches. No way this fight goes past 6. After the Canelo fight I felt that Floyd should leave 47 permenantly. The welterweights are too weak and small for him.

the gate aint the issue, Floyds name alone was going to pack out the venue, he's coming off a great win, he has a handful of fights left, so people will naturally want to see HIM, no matter who he fights

However the PPV will be the issue

there is no real buzz about this fight

Has Pac-Bradley II sold 14k tickets yet? April 12 is a month away.

HBO won't be happy with another disappointment like Pac-Rios.
