Maidana has proven to be much more powerful, skillful, and has a better resume than Baldomir. He's also bigger and taller than Baldomir. No way this fight ends up like Floyd-Baldomir. I think it will be more along the lines of Mayweather-Chavez, minus the TKO.Comment

So how many PPV sells will this have? Dude, I watched the weigh in LIVE as in I was there, the place wasn't wall to wall packed out. It was cool but nothing special.the weigh in almost empty? I just saw the weigh in a couple of minutes ago and there were a lot of fans there, canelo is a popular fighter, why did his fight against Floyd do over 2 million but Floyd agains guerrero under 1 million? canelo has fans, even more in Michigan when they had their press conference over there, you cant deny that, canelo is now coming off a loss fighting Angulo coming off a loss too,and they are still going to do good tonight, maidana is a pretty popular fighter among the Hispanic fans and him beating broner made him even a bigger starComment

Mayweather vs Guerrero was a flop. No one knew who the fuck Guerrero was. Maidana has been in the headlines for years, and got a much higher profile win
then Guerrero. What's funny is people actually think that Maidana is a bigger underdog then Guerrero. Guerrero got destroyed by Salido 4 weight classes lower. Then his soft ass moved up in weight. Beat a nobody hype machine in Aydin, and an even bigger hype machine in Berto. That fight was the definition of a farce.
The May 4 pay-per-view bout between Floyd Mayweather and Robert Guerrero sold a total of 14,258 tickets and pulled in a gate of $9,922,350, according to the Nevada Athletic Commission, which released these numbers Friday, confirming the revenue figure announced on fight night by Golden Boy Promotions. That gate figure is an average of nearly $696 per ticket sold. Tickets’ face values were $1,500, $1,250, $800, $600, $300 and $200.Comment
