So if it's not a title fight, screw contracts and commitments; be as unprofessional as you like. What kind of joke is that?

Anyhow... WAR PERRO!! Got the PPV ordered, now we play the waiting game. There's going to be a war in Vegas tomorrow night.

      Ridiculous..

It's supposed to be an additional demand that you have to make SUPER MIDDLE WEIGHT in the MORNING of fight day, to be allowed to fight at SUPER WELTERWEIGHT?

What's next? Are they gonna turn to 30-day weigh-in that the WBC has into the official weigh-in?

Weigh-ins should be no further than 6h prior to the bout.

I don't believe this crap. It is obvious that Alvarez exercised no self-discipline during his training camp. And Schafer thinks this guy will be the new face of boxing? He will be... if you consider the old face of boxing to be James Toney.

From what I understand same day weigh ins were considered too dangerous for a fighter's health because it left them too drained when they fought later that day. Weighing in 24 hours before the fight was supposed to alleviate that health issue and I believe this was spearheaded by the WBC. But the problem isn't a fighter being too drained to fight, its fighters drain themselves purposefully so they have advantage over other fighters. This 24 hour weigh in before the fight doesn't fix anything, it just enables/encourages more boxers to drain themselves.

This is disappointing . How does Canelo come in over then get an advantage with the with the rehydration clause , Perro was 174 fight night against Lara ? This is clearly two advantages for Canelo . If I'm Angulo I come in tomorrow at what ever I want and give them there 100k back .

Yeah it'll be interesting . I think Canelo will be alright if not he'll pay $$$ and Perro's just happy to be there so he'll do his best of what they ask . If he's over they're not gonna kill him for it ,they just don't want him at 174 like he was with Lara . What a joke ....
