I don't see it that way. He said he retired. Good for him. Most boxers go on too long for their own good anyways.

No use risking further damage especially if your heart is not in it.

Haye's toe was anaethetised so he wouldn't have felt a thing anyway. Besides, Wlad was 35 and Haye in his prime. Byrd, Rahman, Ibragimov, Peter, and Povetkin are bigger wins than Haye anyway. Pulev will be too.

Wlad has been on a bum steak lately and I've been drifting as a fan accordingly, but there hasn't had a credible threat to him since Byrd retired.
Wow I didn't know Mayweather was suppose to fight Williams or Martinez that's news to me. As far as Pacduckiao when know what happened Pac didn't want to do random testing which he supposely is doing now wow a few years later. Oh how's uncle Bob's phantom stadium, oh wait uncle scheduled Pac for may 5 of 2012 but wait there more he moves the date when finds out May is getting out jail and fighting on May 5, no I forgot uncle bob said that Pac got injured and he won't be ready for May. Excuses after excuses after excuses coming from Pacs camp but yet Mayweathwer is the duck get your @hit straight chump.

why does he look dumb? maybe he has no interest in getting in the ring even to spar. maybe he has no interest in getting hit again. he isn't training with local guys & he turned down a decent check for a few weeks. maybe his heart just isn't into putting on gloves again...

Good for him. I respect this decision. Some things are bigger than money, and one of those things is heritage/culture. I respect Tua turning down coin to help one of his fellow Samoans lose. That was a big decision and a respectable one. Im the objective hater and even I have to say "stop hating" on this move y'all.

Mayweather recently said he was willing to give up his belt ("he can have the belt") to avoid Pacquiao. The very fact that Mayweather suggested drug-testing when he hadn't before is evidence he was looking for an escape route from this fight.

Mayweather retired after Williams beat Margarito and announced his return less than a month after Williams moved up to middleweight. Pretty easy to join the dots there. Martinez offered to fight Floyd at 150 for an 80/20 split but Floyd decided to fight Guerrero instead. So, yes, they were all ducks.

Lara will be a duck too because he is obviously the best at light middleweight and there is nothing whatsoever preventing that fight from occuring.

Why do you say that? It sounds like he's just standing on a principle to me. He takes pride in his heritage & doesn't wish to help Klitschko defeat someone he identifies with.
