I find it really hard to believe... you sure they werent joking?

Its an on going joke about Audley that his 'dream is still alive' and he 'will one day win a world title'... i dont think anyone has thought he was good in a long time now

And this is coming from the biggest Price fan on this forum!
Was just about to remind you of that.

Absolutely. Joshua beats Price already, IMO.

Joshua's footwork is improving, his shot selection is now more varied, and he's loosening up. In some ways, he reminds me of a young Lennox. Hopefully he'll be brought on well, at a steady pace.

I think a young Lennox was more naturally gifted, but his jab was non existent and he threw the right hand constantly back then.

Joshua throws a mean jab already, has a nice left hook and an awesome right hand. He's really developing into a force of nature.

He can't match Lennox for speed of foot though, and I doubt that will come. But yeahhe probably would beat Price.

Bruno in this era would have been pretty decent tbf!

AJ looks the part but I want to see him get hit. too early to get on his bandwagon. I like Hughie fury better at this point minus those awful body zits he has going...Hughie has a nice array of punches & goes to body constantly. he is big & 5 years younger then AJ...

I'm excited too and it takes a lot to coax some excitement out of an old dog like me. What has impressed me, or rather surprised me the most is that he has the physique of heavyweights of the past, a bit like a young Ken Norton. It's refreshing, after almost 2 decades of seeing fat men wobbling their way into a prize fighting ring. On top of that, young Anthony is a terrific lad.

In terms of the boxing itself, he is a bit too robotic for my liking, more Lewis than Bowe but he does have power, decent footwork and ok handspeed. I'm curious to see what he can do against the best heavies in Britain and in all honesty, I'd like him to run the gauntlet of Price, Towers, Sexton and a few others who are just shy of being real threats. Some one of Anthony's class should not spend too long fighting these tomato cans or he'll end up like Harrison 2.0.

yeah i mean it's not really an insult. but i do think joshua's potential probably ends somewhere below "best of the best" status.
