As for Floyd "dangling the carrot" in front of Khan. Khan's a grown man in charge of his own career. Was is shady of Floyd? Absolutely. That said, Khan is the one that opted to take the path of least resistance to a Floyd fight. Kinda reminds me of the Tarver-Harding rematch. Tarver was already Roy Jones' mandatory. And basically, the Harding rematch was a fight that he really didn't need to take. He could have sat on the sidelines and waited for his shot at RJ. But he opted to avenge his loss to Harding. And left no doubt that he was the biggest threat to RJ if RJ opted to come back down to 75. Khan could have don't something very similar against Alexander. Say what you want about Floyd. Floyd has been very consistant about fighting guys coming off big wins. Can't say for sure. But if Khan beats Alexander and has a belt. I doubt seriously we're discussing Floyd jerkin' Khan around and we'd be discussing Floyd-Khan in May.

As for Broner. His future is clearly not at 47. At least not in the immediate future. So the mere mention of a Khan fight was ******. And nothing more than Floyd trying to add a lil sizzle to a ****ty main event that he's asking people to shell out money to watch. If AB and Khan had any pride about themselves. They both would have told Floyd to go f.uck himself. Especially Broner. Because its fairly obviously Floyd wants to turn AB into his lil undercard sideshow and gatekeeper. And that's after snatching Maidana away from him after AB exercised his rematch clause and wanted to try and avenge his loss. He thinks Floyd is his friend. He needs to open his eyes.
I agree with most of this.

Yes, Khan is a grown man and ultimately responsible for his decisions. It's his fault that he fell for Floyd's BS, but it was still a sh.itty move from Floyd.

As for the Broner point, I completely agree. Floyd screwed him way worse than he screwed Khan, and suggesting that he fight Khan next was terrible advice. Khan is not the type of opp Broner needs right now.

not a bad idea for his first fight at 147 but after that he must face and beat a credible guy like porter thurman alexander or Guerrero to deserve a fight with Floyd. collazo paulie brook berto to not count as credible opponents to me

Khan will get no credit for this win, event though Collazo isnt bad for his first fight at WW

          The Ghost or Porter

Hope Khan rejects the notion of this fight

Yes very true but the problem with this for Khan as we know, they are aware that the gravy could be derailed at any given time seeing how he has struggled with mediocre opposition in the passed. I can't see Khan's chin holding out at the higher weight , I remember how feather fisted willie Limond had him on the deck at light weight, presscot knocked him senseless at that weight and these are the big boys with a big heavy dig.
I think knowing the Khan's they will run a mile and not fight Collazo. I do hope that I am wrong!

If I had to guess, I bet Khans team won't want to fight Collazo. But at this point Khans options are limited since he put all his eggs in the Mayweather basket. I still would rather see Khan fight Devon Alexander or even Kell Brook before Collazo

I don't look at it as Floyd screwing Khan. I look at it as Floyd took the lesser of two evils. Or that he took the slightly less ****ty of two ****ty options. Either way, Khan could have made himself a more credible option by beating Alexander. And he opted to go the easiest route. And I feel no sympathy for him. Especially since he's basically trying to do the same thing now.

As for Broner, I don't think Khan presents any more problems for him than the top guys at 140. He's an underdog against Garcia. He's an undergod against Matthysse. He's an underdog against Provo. I think he would beat the next tier of guys like Peterson and Alvarado. But it is what it is. He would have troube with Khan. But Khan is gonna walk into some counters, and then its anybody's ballgame. Either way, Khan is a pointless fight for both guys really. The winner would be what, the 15th best welterweight in the world. So at day's end, its a ****** match-up.
