If Khan is serious about being taken serious then Collazo is a good start. I wouldn't for a minute suggest that this should get him a Mayweather fight we've all heard enough of that but a move in the right direction, although I would fancy Collazo to win it would be good for Khan to stop the talking and prove people , me included wrong.Although I doubt this will happen.Wait until Schaefer realises the Khan's want straight shots at everything...Hence they are so fondly thought of!!

Collazo has paid his dues. Very difficult fight for Khan, not only does Collazo pick his shots wisely and can box but he's also got a good defensive stance. Needless to mention he packs a good punch and that will always be a dangerous element against Khan. This is a good chance for Khan to make a statement, and of course same can be said for Collazo. Intriguing fight.

I can still remember collazo vs hatton like it was yesterday
he's a tough sob with a decent chin good power and he's good counter puncher
tough style match up for khan but would prove a few haters wrong if he got the win
props too khan if he takes the fight

Brook is ranked, he'll make a whole lot more money, be a huge fight here.
Makes sense to do that unless you're getting a fight like Broner or Porter which neither are happening obviously.

LMAO!!!! Broner's duckin' but its Khan who's going after old ass Collazo. He supposedly wants to make a statement at welterweight to get a Floyd fight. First, he wanted a fringe welterweight, that's not even a welterweight. Now, he wants a sr citizen that was nothing more than a slightly above average contender in his prime. He doesn't want Porter, an established welterweight beltholder. He doesn't want Thurman, a big puncher on the way up. Hell, he doesn't even want Brook. Who's still unproven but a legitimate welterweight. And one who gets him his biggest payday against anybody not named Floyd. This guy is a joke. The only bigger joke is the fans who have recently jumped his d1ckhead because they can rant that "Floyd ducked him" and now "AB is duckin' him." Ya'll are some f.uckin' clowns.

If Khan beats Broner, people will be like "whatever, Broner is an exposed hypejob, Maidana ruined him, blown up lightweight" etc.
If he beats Brook, they will say "whatever, Brook is a nobody, beat only bums, needed a gift against Carson Jones" etc.
Most "fans" will do anything to discredit Khan, so he needs to pick someone really credible, and Collazo is not a bad choice in that regard.
