Al Haymon is Another Bob Arum

He makes people sign to him in order to get the great fights to happen, Bob Arum makes people extend or sign to him to get the great fights, these are the scum bags of boxing. This is basically blackmail.

They both provide services. If you want them, you need to sign a contract. Just like your phone company if you want another company's service you have to end your previous contract to sign with the new one. It's simple, we see it as wrong because of the promotional cold war, but again boxing is business.

It is a buissness but unlike any other, you get hurt here, my telephone company cant hurt him unless they dont like me call mexico anymore jajaja

But it more like holding hostage the best opportunity in your career for a personal favor?

It more like a scenarios like you have the right to a promotion but the boss wont give it to you unless you suck his dick.

Al Haymon gets you overpaid while Arum will have you underpaid.

Well you know the risks in Boxing. Even if you sign with the best manager and promoter you can still get hurt.

Bob Arum is a bit different because he screws some of his fighters over in order to give his favorite an advantage, that much is true. However you're still better off with him than most of the second rate promoters because he had the goods to make you a star. Haymon on the other hand is and adviser not a promoter, they hire him because he's influential and people are getting huge paydays with him, I've yet to see someone complain about him.

But just like in any business saturation will happen sooner or later.

Haymon fighters get paid and seem to be set after boxing ask Paul Williams
It seems like he has his guys prepare for life after boxing.

Haymon makes his guys money while Arum takes his guys money
These fighters put their life on the line every time they get in the ring and Haymon makes sure they are compensated for it.

Imagine if Tyson and Pac had Haymon on their teams, they would not have gotten robbed by their promoters.
