Lomachenko's entire defense consisted of holding and illegal pushing, reminded me of Wlad in there. You take that away and he has 0 defense.

At least he was consistent, first he warns Loma twice for holding then doesn't bring it up again in the fight. They must have told him to not get too involved so he did just that. I thought the main event Ref was giving Chavez way too much power, anything Chavez complained about he was right there like a lap dog. And that point deduction was garbage.

Cole is crap but he wasn't biased.

        He likely is crooked.
I couldn't believe that! I was like, WTF! The commentators had something to say about it as well. That looked like Cole's objective was to stop Lomo from raining punches on Salido and give Siri a breather. Highly suspect.

30 seconds in and I see a lot of them were on the belt line where it should not have affected Lomachenko. Regardless there was a lot of low blows from Salido and a lot clinching from Loma. A tougher ref was needed, like Smoger or someone similar but also, Loma is not a mute, he could talk about the low blows and his corner too could tell the ref about it. I saw none of that happen. Incompetent ref, but also rookie behavior from Loma and his corner. I don't know when not complaining about fouls became a "tough" or "cool" thing.

He's no Rigondeaux, but he has good foot movement and reflexes.

Salido also threw big hooks after the break and never got a warning

I highly think this fight was fixed, Cole didn't say **** when Salido was holding on for dear life in the last 2 rounds

                Absolute disgrace.

Bro, there were several times where Vasyl actually came off the ground from a low-blow, actually wincing. At this very moment, the kid is way too clean for the pro game. He should've (in this order) 1. complained, 2. punched Salido in the stones, 3. fell to the canvass in agony. No way Cole could've missed all those fouls. I'm glad Lampley tore into him for his incompetence on national TV.

Lomachenko held a lot, this is true, but I don't think it compares nearly in severity to low-blows. Clinching is a part of the game. It's not supposed to be allowed in excess, but it's very common. Hitting below the belt, on the other hand, is another matter. It's a flagrant foul. One slows the action down, the other hurts and wears down the opponent. It's getting tiresome seeing these incompetent officials, from the refs to the judges. The sport is a circus.

I agree Vasyl should've done all those things. It was a rookie mistake by him and his corner.
