You guys are still in your pajamas I see. 99% of the forum talks about boxing being a business yet no one ever mentions how Canelo is a Golden Boy money maker who will not be beat by Angulo in any shape or form.

It's business folks. You're money belongs to Floyd and Golden Boy.

    Wake up!

You're the one that's sleeping buddy.

Boxing history is full of upsets. Your boxing knowledge is poor.

The only reason Angulo was doing well against Lara is because Lara depends on his athleticism for offense, and that style is tiring against someone with a fighter like Angulo.

Canelo is a natural puncher, when you face him against someone with poor defense, he's going to go to work. That's how Canelo wins fights. He breaks you down.

Lara was tailor made for Angulo(though through his sheer talent and will + thumbing angulo's eye, he won) and Angulo is tailor made for Canelo.

People need to stop judging the Mayweather fight because Canelo was clearly weight-drained.

Minus the Mayweather fight, Canelo has shown himself to be an exceptional boxer. His level is far above Angulo's.

Lara depends on his athleticism for offense, but Canelo is a natural puncher, who wins by breaking down his opponents. If you give a puncher as accurate as canelo as many shots as angulo is going to give him, that's bad news.
Right, so which fights should we judge him on? Which top tier opponents did he beat so impressively that would put him on a level far above Angulo's?

Canelo's fundamentals are far above Angulo's, he has many more dimensions to his game.

The most likely outcome I see for this fight is UD or TKO by Canelo

You didn't answer my question though.

Who has Canelo beat that proves he's on a much higher level than Angulo?

I didn't answer it because I've seen Canelo fight.

When you know what you're watching, you can be confident in your ability to measure a fighter. Both Angulo and Canelo's resume's are equally bad, and Lara is a little overrated.

You have to understand this is the hardest puncher Canelo has ever fought. Angulo is no GGG/Matthysse and his type isnt uncommon in regards to power but somehow Canelo has never been in there with one in all those fights.
Definitely will test Canelo and i have to pick Angulo mainly cuz Canelo has been handed his career.

So what you're saying is you're relying on the eye-test because you can't rely on his record.

You won't get any arguments from me on that, Canelo looks the part. He appears to be the clearly superior pure boxer, but this is a fight and intangibles come into play and in the past Canelo has fallen down on one fairly notably: stamina.

I think he's going to hurt Angulo enough before stamina becomes an issue.

Anything can happen, maybe Angulo's roughhouse tactics will be too much for Canelo, but I don't think so. I think he's going to prepare accordingly with the best possible game plan and execute the W.

You say he loses because of stamina

I say he wins because of intelligence
