I'm convinced that Alfred Angulo is going to beat Canelo

    I wouldn't be surprised...

This fight is dubbed toe to toe, but I guarantee Canelo is going to be trying to box off his back foot and move the entire fight. He'll be "running"

This fight could very well end up looking like Broner-Maidana. Not as how the fight went, but that you have a guy who fancies himself a better boxer (similar low punching output and leaky defense) than he really is and is going to get in there with a big puncher and aggressive guy. Angulo is going try to get Canelo's respect immediately by punching him in the mouth and forcing him to fight, the question is how will Canelo react?

It shocks me how much little credit Canelo gets just because he lost to Floyd. You can tell by the way Floyd talks about him he thinks highly of Canelo and that says a lot about the dude. Angulo will land some shots but he will be eating 4 and 5 punch combinations to the face and stomach and he will fold up. Once that left eye starts swelling up again, he will start to break....he is soft at heart, which is nothing to down the guy for but he has a breaking point and Canelo hasn't been introduced to his yet.

I'm not discrediting Canelo. I just think this is great matchup in Angulo's favor.

I've always felt that Canelo's stamina would be an issue one day, especially someone who can pressure him.

If Canelo can't get Angulo's respect with his punching power he's going to be in for a rough night because he damn sure doesn't have the footspeed, agility or seemingly even the understanding how to fight effectively at different ranges... He better hope he can get Angulo out of there early.

Canelo throws explosive combinations and he always fights at one steady measured pace. His days at 154 are definitely numbered.

Only concern for me is if Angulo's eye didn't heal up from the Lara bout.

I know people are going to say well Angulo lost to Kirkland but those are 2 completely different styles.

I don't make troll threads either. I truly believe Angulo will win and will have some money on the fight.
                  Same here.

I might be crazy, but I think Angulo will drop Canelo once in the fight !

                      I don't see it happening.

People need to stop judging the Mayweather fight because Canelo was clearly weight-drained.

Minus the Mayweather fight, Canelo has shown himself to be an exceptional boxer. His level is far above Angulo's.

Lara depends on his athleticism for offense, but Canelo is a natural puncher, who wins by breaking down his opponents. If you give a puncher as accurate as canelo as many shots as angulo is going to give him, that's bad news.
