On the other hand we saw Salido hold for dear life in the last two rounds Lomachenko coulnd't even pull himself away. Salido had him on lockdown with his arms and he looked like a seasoned sambo fighter, not a boxer.

Meanwhile Lomo's holding with one arm and then Salido lands 3 low blows with the same arm in front of Cole. Lomo's holding wasn't even that bad. You think of bad holding and you think of Mayweather vs Hatton, Bhop vs Zaghe, Devon Alexander vs Marcos Maidana, Wlad vs anybody. The fact of the matter is that Lomo for all his experience, he doesn't even know how to hold or clinch. And you're all acting that all the clinching was initiated by him well in fact Salido was happy to be in there cause he could work his magic, below the belt, kidney shots and so and so forth.

You armchair loosers talking about how lowblows aren't a big deal.

Has any of you spaced out dummies fought against a seasoned professional fighter who weighed as much as Mayweather and fought leading with his head and off with the lowblows? No!

Then you have Loma trying to actually defend lowblows cause the ref doesn't do anything about them, his own corner is telling him get away from the lowblows. Could they have been more vocal and demonstrative about the lowblows, sure! Could he have hit Salido back with a lowblow, sure! He didn't do it, ok but it still doesn't make Salido's low shots leagal. Even if you look at the body shots landed by Salido when they didn't stray below the belt they were on the elbows, a lot of them. Now how do you get your elbows down to your nuts to defend a lowblow? GTFO

This was a great conjob by team salido, they won but it wasn't fair and square.

They had Cole who likely bet on the underdog. He missed weight by 2.5 pounds, he came in at 19 pounds over what he weighed on fight night. He had Cole on his side. The fight was in Texas where they suck at drug testing and sometimes won't even do it. So Salido might've been on roids like when he whooped on Guerrero and later steroids were found and the decision was changed to a no-contest. Guerrero is a big dude and he got whooped by Salido from 1 to 12 much worse than Lomo. They won't discover anything in Salido's blood though, it's Texas.
The worst part was the crying by Lampley and Co. When Lomachenko did it, it was the worst thing in the sport. When Salido was doing it to cling to life, they called it effective.

That was the idiot Ledderman complaining about 23 clinches in 6 rounds of action and never saying did they teach low blows in Mexico, we get Mares first and now Salido. Damn!

I wonder how long the whining from Loma fans will continue. Can't just accept that he was not going to beat Salido last night. Simple as that.

And come on people, almost knocked him out? Not even close. Salido has shown it would take 10x what Lomachenko had to put him away.

Huge respect for Lomachenko. He certainly took the loss better than his fans.

I agreed with Roy(I think he said it) that Lomachenko should have popped Salido at least once in the balls, that would have gotten the reff on top of it for sure.

I dont care for holding, it just shows the fighter is outta his depths. Only if in deep trouble do i appreciate skillful holding.

It should be a tactic when necessary, not part of your fulltime strategy alla hopkins.

Fans pay to see punches, not a grown man hugging another.

I dont care what anyone says, im the fan i chose what i find entertaining.

Btw most fans dont realize you can get dq'd for too much holding, that alone proves is a bs style.
