lol both sides need to get over it. salido acted like a **** starting with the weigh in. lomo learned that nothing will be given to him the easy way. there are nuances to the pro game u dont learn in one fight. its a hard lesson, but the kid, although talented, was severely flawed. he wasnt ready, low blows or no.

You're downplaying the significance of the low blows. Did you not see Lomo dropping his hands to defend the low blows.

It's true that Lomo was not prepared, they were a little bit over their head and when I heard that they only had two sparring partners before this fight I was worried, but let's not act like the low blows weren't affecting the fight.

im not downplaying anything. the kid looked like crap. im talking technically. had nothing to do with the low blows. salido didnt need them to win. im a fan of his, but this is the worse ive ever seen salido fight. hes just about washed up imo, but he still looked the better fighter.

Top Rank learned a valuable lesson last night. No boxer should ever fight for a title in their second pro fight, no matter how good they were as an amateur. Lomo took the beating of his life last night, i hope he recovers well.

There are so many things wrong with the statement, it's absurd!

First off, if Loma is moving away, clinching and parrying and bending low so he could block and defend against the low blows. So technically it has everything to do with the fight as in sparring you don't defend against low blows and you don't prepare for them. But of course you're a Salido fan and believe that Salido didn't need them. Really? So why did he throw them then? Again, you're speculating, you have no idea how the fight would've turned if Salido didn't hit low but we do know what he did and how that changed the fight technically. It's like saying Salido didn't need to make weight to win, duh, the irony!

Again Lomo was amateurish but Salido didn't land jack upstairs besides maybe 5 clean shots the entire fight but he was so big even when he was landing legally to the body and Vasyl was blocking them with his elbows he was being moved. We don't know if Salido was cheating again like he did against Guerrero and we're likely not going to find out since they don't catch cheaters in Texas

what clinches? salido burrows in with his head and hits low and Vasil is right there wondering what to do. Then Salido keeps hitting low while in the clinch and to the kidneys. Salido wasn't looking to get away from the clinches like Vasyl was trying in the 11th and 12th round. Wonder why? Cause it was kida neat for Salido to be there he could foul more often and it was less obvious to Cole.

None of them are funny or entertaining, I've yet to see a clever troll, its always some over the top idiotic comment to get people excited and a lot of times ruin a good thread. They cant have a proper discussion about anything (usually because they don't know anything about it) so they turn it into childish argument with a bunch of posts you would swear came from a six year old.

I think Lomo would be fine, this was a good learning experience for him. He saw it all - missed weight, size disadvantage, low blows, dirty tactics, bad ref and he still managed to dominate the last two rounds. He and his father need help though as far as preparation. He had 2 sparring partners for this fight, he wasn't ready and for him not being ready he didn't take much damage upstairs. He'll recover and hopefully his team become more open-minded, seek assistance and prepare better for the future.
