A few years ago Abraham was overrated and today he's underrated but that's just the nature of the sport - When you keep on winning you get hyped up like crazy and when you start losing it's the complete opposite.

When AA knocked out Miranda and looked like a beast at MW he was one of the clear favorites to win the Super Six. A lot of fans talked about him like he was some kind of unstoppable force that would KO pretty much everyone. When Super Six was over and his lopsided losses against Ward and Froch all of a sudden Abraham was just a basic fighter that any elite fighter would beat....so For the last couple of years Abraham been very underrated.

AA is not and will never be the very best SMW but he's still one of the best in the division. I'd like to see him fight someone like James Degale next.

There is no shame in losing to Froch, Dirrell and Ward, those are great fighters. One loss to Stieglitz is not that bad, especially not when Arthur has defeated him twice, both before and after his loss to him. That TKO4 for Stieglitz told more about Stieglitz' quality than Abraham's lack of quality.

He ****** against Shiheppo, though, truth be told.

He was never the top SMW, but he has always been just behind the top. Boxers like Kessler, Froch, Dirrell, Ward, etc. are just too big/skilled/active for Arthur, yeah. But everyone else, they're getting ****'d up.

Any boxer who defeats Arthur, both Ward, Froch, Dirrell, Stieglitz, deserves huge respect for being able to do so.

It would take a good fighter to beat him, but not necessarily a great one.

Nah, he is not versatile enough. Dirrell, Ward and Froch boxed the living hell out of him, and he fouled Dirrell and then tried to act like he did nothing wrong.

Bum ass fighter, a close win over Stieglitz is nothing. He would get destroyed by Golovkin or Groves. DeGale or Chavez Jr. would be good fights.

I think he could possibly stop Groves and DeGale. Chavez Jr. would probably beat him by decision. As for Golovkin, he has never fought a remarkable opponent in his entire pro career and as Lomachenko showed us yesterday, a great amateur record does not neccesarily mean huge succes in the pros.

Basicly this ...only that I truly believe that he was an absolute elite MW. His power at this weight class, combined with his jaw and the little extra speed he had at the time made him special.

Once he arrived at SMW he got exposed by top class competition that was quicker, longer and/or more versatile.

During his heyday at MW though he was a freak of nature.

Stieglitz got more reach, speed and stamina than Abraham. Stieglitz probably even got comparable punching power to Abraham now, as Abraham's KO power has declined a lot in recent years.

However, Abraham won by saving his energy at the right times and then go on the offense at the right moment and hit the tired Stieglitz with perfectly placed punches. Abraham's superior chin and boxing skills made him able to beat a guy who had so many advantages against him - he even did it in Stieglitz's hometown!

                  Much respect to Arthur Abraham!

                    Yeah, he's extremely overrated. lol.
Both Abraham and Stieglitz are really bad. Abraham may have been decent at 160, but he never belonged at 168.

Stieglitz has improved a lot since he fought Andrade and Andrade was a good boxer in his prime.

Abraham lost to Shiheppo, yeah, no excuses there. He probably had a bad day, cus he made a great combat against Stieglitz and looked the best he has looked in years.

He did beat Carolis, maybe not very impressive, but a win is a win. Even the best of boxers have less than spectacular wins sometimes.

You try to make things seem worse than they are.
