I wonder who Jim Lampley was rooting to win? Since the 2nd round they were making excuses for Loma... they were definitely fair in their commentary.

HBO commentary is just ridiculous. It's painful to listen to. Showtime is running away with quality of fights, commentating, presentation etc....

i'm sure lomachenko will bounce back. he was visibly learning as the fight progressed. he could win a rematch. just a case of too much too soon. in the first 8 or so rounds he wasn't even trying to hurt salido.

This is PROFESSIONAL Boxing, not the ameteurs... So everybody can stop talking about hundreds of fights and this and that. Professional boxing is a whole different animal and The Fact is Loma just bit off more than he can chew... You need to build your way up in the pros, unless your a special talent like Rigo, which He is not. Back to the drawing board...

How did he bite off more than he could chew... That decision could of easily gone to Loma... He almost knocked Salido out in the 12th or at least seriously hurt him... Did Salido, the big tough professional that is so out of Loma's league, ever hurt Loma?

Very good point. How do you think Chavez Jr looked tonight? I thought he looked good and is now committed to the sport. His defense is improving, his stamina, good, and he is actually an intelligent fighter. He is going to beat GGG. I like GGG BUT Chavez is more skilled.

Chavez vs GGG is a really great fight. Chavez despite what people say about him, does have a really good chin... Can GGG crack it... If not, assuming his chin keeps up, I'd have GGG winning on points.
