Watch Marco knock Floyd out...you heard it here first. If Floyd is ever worry about his health it should be this one.
Floyd beat every guy he fought.
Chino beat UP every guy he fought.

            Ding! ding! ding!

119 clinches. Check 2:50 3 BRTUAL deliberate punches to the back of the head.
This is the only way in which Alexander "won" ("won" ) that fight. I'm not saying it doesnt happen a lot, but put an impartial ref. in there and you'd still be looking for pieces of Alexander's corpse in there.
Since then Maidana got stronger and fights smarter, managing to keep one of his arms free during these clinches and bashing away even then. You could see this several times against Broner.
Floyd will go for something like this along with constant pushing, heel of the hand face shoving (you know, the part of the glove that isnt cushioned) and of course his speed, skill and craftiness. But I still dont think it will be an easy fight. If Maidana is in perfect shape to keep up the rate of fire he had against Broner he can get the KO he needs to win.

You actually counted the number of clinches and stayed awake ..... nice!

Floyd will do the same thing if he sees Maidana giving him any kind of trouble. He will also add in several elbows to the neck, just like Devon did. Of course, will move more than Devon did. Maidana will then get frustrated and it's a wrap!

Hope Garcia watched the Devon fight and plans that all well and makes sure that the ref gets drilled on those points and the ref gives out warnings. Or else, this will become a frustrating snooze feast come May 3rd!

Another poster said, "Maidana is just a smaller version of Canelo."

What people should know is that Marcos Maidana is a bigger puncher than Saul Alvarez and Victor Ortiz, according to Josesito Lopez.

"Out of all those guys, Maidana unquestionably has the hardest single punch." said Lopez, who fought Victor Ortiz, Canelo Alvarez, and Marcos Maidana.

Not only does Maidana hit harder than Canelo and Ortiz, but Chino also throws more punches than those guys -- way more punches.

                  Think about that, fellas.

Can a pot shot and clinch stop Maidana? Marcos perfectly embodies a bull; his face kind of resembles one and so does his fighting style.
it depends who you ask. i think he is an exciting fighter, but technically he isnt very good at all. he has power, and thats about it. he isnt particularly fast on his feet, has average hand speed but he is a tough bastard.

does he stand a chance against mayweather? i dont think so, unless mayweather gets old overnight or gets seriously complacent, this will be a boring sparring session that floyd want you to pay for.

iv nothing against chino, i hope he does well, but he isnt exactly inspiring confidence.

                      Maidana is overrated, not underrated.

I like watching him, he's a warrior, but he's not very good. Too limited and predictable.
