The 114-114 is a joke, but my point stands. The success Mayweather had in that fight is severely overstated. Canelo landed, Mayweather landed clearer. Neither landed at a high rate. I don't know what it is about that fight, but for whatever reason 99% of fans out there seem to think Canelo got gatti'd, when in reality Mayweather Klitchscko vs Haye'd his way to a win with mostly jabs.

I didn't like Canelos gameplan at all, nor did I like Guerreros original plan. Yes in expectation, you could say Guerrero did better, but I have a hard time with that, because he didn't win a rd, and got smashed up on a regular basis. If Mayweather didn't have such fragile hands he likely would have stopped him.
He lost terribly bad and looked lost in the process. I don't think Canelo won more than 1 round, I thought Guerrero could have won 2. He didn't get beat up like Gatti but he was never in the fight, nether was Guerrero but I think Gurrero put forth the better effort to try and win.

Both did not do well, so you are asking which outhouse smells better~

So we were haters for telling you that Floyd's previous opponents weren't as good as their hype and now that Floyd fans want to hype up Maidana, they are in agreement. Funny stuff!

You will see that next time they will say that Maidana never had a chance against Floyd and Floyd's next opponent is better (the new hype).

Don't know if bigger mismatch than Guerrero. All I know is Floyd fights easier fights than his peers, ie Miguel fighting Sergio, and Pac fighting Bradley etc etc.

But its still the case that I don't think Floyid is so great, that a Maidana cant test him.

Maybe because that so called champion beat up a hyped up fighter that had just moved up from 130 to 135 a little over a year ago and that in his only other fight at 147, he had trouble against Paulie Malignaggi.

Just go check it out. Where were these so-called champions a year before fighting Floyd?
                  - Maidana, Khan, Ortiz, Guerrero, Marquez (not a champ), Baldomir, ..... and so on....

Don't you see, it's the same freaking cherry picking formula over and over and over again. Last time I checked the poll over here, only 3% polled gave Maidana a chance to win by UD. They even thought that Floyd had just as good a chance if not better to KO Maidana. Yes, Floyd!

When did you ever see someone complaining like you, Larryxxx, when the poll shows landslide win for Floyd.

                  .

Maidana is gonna lose 120-108, plain and simple.

As Andre Ward said after he won his last fight, some fighters just enter the ring to try to land that lucky punch and not win on points. His opponent on the night (forget his name) enter the ring with that game plan.

Maidana will too and he will lost easily by points unless he lands that lucky shot.

Maidana is the bigger mismatch. At least Guerrero came in with two gameplans and had some marginal success and a sniff of a couple of rounds. Maidana is going to lose every round with ease.

Maybe its just me but I thought Guerrero did better actually than quite a few of Floyds recent opponents including Canelo who I didn't give a round too and looked sorry for himself and on the verge of quitting/getting stopped.

Hats off to Guerrero he was massively frustrated and totally outclassed but he didn't stop trying.
