    Most pointless fight out there!!

Amir Khan has been offered a big $ fight vs Kell Brook and some jokers here are saying Khan is even ducking that.

Reasons why its a useless fight for Khan:

    1) Out of Brook's 31 wins the biggest name is Senchenko?

    2) Has never won or even been in a world title fight. Yet wants Khan? sad

    3) Didnt enforce(ducked) mandatory title shots vs Alexander/Bradley.

    4) A win wont mean a career boost as ppl will say "Brook was a hype job"

    5) 31 fights each and a combined record of their opponents:

    Khan - Wins 719, Losses 157

    Brook - Wins 622, Losses 917

    6) Not known in U.S. apart from oh yes his debut vs GOAT Luis Galarza.

Conclusion: Brook fight is big money, but Khan wants to become a stronger candidate to Floyd and beating Brook who hasnt even won a title means jack. Khan at that level doesnt need an eliminator for a shot. As for if Diaz/Molina are better? Diaz was atleast a world champ who drew with Porter a fight before and Molina was just a tuneup after a KO loss.

Why is Kell Brook not fighting a champion or even attempted to win a title? Are they not even confident in winning a belt? Khan atleast had star power to call for a Mayweather fight and if you pretend he doesnt well you were all pi$sed he may get it so thats proof.

A win vs Porter raises Khan's stock because of the belt and Porter being a name in U.S. Also A.B who is the new Andre Berto.

So you can give 6 reasons why he shouldn't, Eddie Hearn has 5 million reasons why he should.

People either want Brook to step up or they don't. What other fight is A mere con going to generate that much money from?

I do not blame Brook for targeting this fight; title or not who in the right mind will fight Porter who is stylistically wrong for Brook when they could get 5 times the purse for fighting a glass jawed bum like Khan?
A lot of U.K fans hate A mere con, Brook already sells out 12k seat arenas in Sheffield, a win over Khan and he will be a superstar over here.

There are some positives about the Brook fight. Obviously the money is the main one. Also it's a huge fight in the UK and it's a chance for Khan to re-establish himself here

Read the conclusion. I know its a bit long for a thread. If it happens well who am i to stop but as a fan Porter or even AB sounds more credible in order to increase his chances of Mayweather.

Khan vs Brook, I'd watch just to watch but, that's because I love boxing. Khan just needs to fight anyone at this point.

8k and that was his highest vs Senchenko.

Khan did 10k with Diaz and guess where? not Bolton not Manchester but Sheffield. Hell he even did 16k plus with Mccloskey.

If khan arrived at the scene after Barrera what if he called out Ricky Hatton? You all wouldve laughed. Now Khan aint Ricky but still a bigger name.

Brook wants to step up? win a damn title. He can offer Khan 5 mil but not Porter or any other champ who holds a legitimate strap? Hes been title ready since 2010. "this year is gonna be my year" pffff

The fight makes 100% sense from Brook's perspective.

A lot of the reasons you gave are from the perspective of a hardcore fan but not necessarily a businessman. It doesn't matter if Brook's record is paper-thin; he's undefeated and has a fair bit of hype behind him, and he's a young fighter in his prime. He's also a legitimate welterweight and a win over him would help establish Khan's place as an elite fighter in the division, instead of just a guy with a big name.

Plus the money is a factor. Who else is going to pay Khan 5 million dollars right now? He wouldn't make that much fighting Adrien Broner.
