    That's hilarious

At this stage in his career he's tailor made for anybody. This comment is hilarious.

That is unless you give him six years and 40 something rounds of boxing to figure you out. In that case, he might knock you out! (Ie Manny Pacquiao.)

I like Alvarado but I think he gets punished by Marquez. That being said it should be a good fight.

Why doesn't anyone mention the first knockdown in Marquez-Pacquiao IV? When Marquez got knocked down, only his glove touched the floor. When Manny got knocked down first his butt hit the floor, next his head, neck, chest & abs hit the floor. Manny DID walk into a trap.

Pacquiao had one huge round in the 5th and was up by a round or two the fight was still in the balance at the time of the KO. Marquez has never been Ko'd and Pacquiao has never been able to take him out so your making absurd assumptions.

Marquez trained for the ko and wasn't interested in winning a decision. Check out the ko in round 3 where Marquez starts throwing body shots in order to set up the overhand right he knocked him down with. He threw that body shot around 3 consecutive times before feinting the body shot only to go upstairs while Pacquiao covered for the body shot. The ko punch was clearly something they worked on they landed the exact same punch during sparring and it's on video it's pretty obvious this wasn't luck. It's been almost two years and yet people are still labeling the outcome as pure luck

And finally how many fighter consistently ko elite fighters with one punch. Other than Pacquiao/ Hatton and Williams/Martinez recently who's accomplished that??Many big punchers fighting right now but you have to land the perfect punch to ko an elite fighter to accomplish that.
That's what I'm saying. He landed that exact same punch right after he got knocked down by Pacquiao (more like he tripped on PACS foot). Look at the fight. I swear Pacquiao fans are just fan boys.

Right... Pssst. Alvarado can hurt Marquez though, that I know. It's really an intriguing fight in the sense that I truly have no idea how it will play out mainly due to Alvarado. He has an identity crisis at the moment where he doesn't know if he wants to be a boxer or a brawler and the confusion is taxing him.

I believe that even though it plays into Marquez's style, Alvarado needs to pressure like Katsidis did and pick his shots. He won't outbox Marquez.

I would've preffered to see him in there with Provodnikov, but
But this is a descent fight too. Don't know about PPV worthy though

Of course he's made for him. He's made to earn him a lot of money.

If someone was going to make me a ton of money I would be saying the same.

I fear that Alvarado isn't fast enough or active enough on his feet, not sure if his chin is as great as Bradley's either. Alvarado will slug some out with Marquez, guarantee it.

This should be a good example of a C+/B- level fighter against an elite level fighter.
