His spanglish passes for fluent now? The words he DOES know are fine I suppose, but when you have to finish your sentences in english it's not fluent. When i think fluent I mean they sound like a native speaker or can carry a full on flowing conversation in the language and have fair grammar. Seriously though.. Angel has okay spanish and aside from having a basic vocab (having to finish in english) you can tell he's puerto rican but not from puerto rico judging strictly from his speech. This is something that the PR fans themselves will decide - but I suspect he won't get the love a Puerto Rican national would.
It's just not the same...like in the Olympics say....I might favour an American or Australian of Greek origin, but they'd never get the same support from me as an Hellenic national or UK competitorComment
