Its hard for me to answer as I didn't see much of Hatton's prime since he fought mostly in England. I saw much more of Maidana.

Its a toss up for me. I need more expsosure to Hatton's prime to make a clear choice.

Prime Maidana MURDERS Prime Hatton.

Maidana's biggest win is Broner, an overhyped clown who prior to fighting Marcos beat up on midgets and got questionable decisions in his favor. Marcos lost every round to Alexander, struggled with a blown up Josesito and Soto Karass, and lost to Khan. He even struggled with an aging Morales.

I like Maidana, but you're seriously overrating him after he did the world a favor and beat up Broner. Prime vs prime, Hatton wouldn't be at 147 anyway, but P4P he'd be the better fighter. And as has been mentioned before, Maidana went down on a body shot to Khan, and Hatton is a better body puncher and hits much harder. He had quick feet and hands, and was a great on the inside. He also knew how to get inside.

At 140, Hatton would likely stop Maidana. At 147 it's a little more interesting but stylistically I don't think it's a good one for Marcos.
