Please delete or edit your thread because Floyd was deciding between Khan and Maidana. I thought that was a joke when I heard that the first time.

Manny vs Bradley is leaps and bounds a better pick ..... and Manny wanted Floyd but like we saw, Floyd wanted Khan or Maidana instead and said "not interested"

This fight is acceptable in my book. Maidana is a legit champion and, contrary to many of the comments here, Maidana will present challenges Mayweather hasn't dealt with in a long time.

Comparing him to Guerrero, Ortiz, and Canelo is a mistake. Maidana has a fire that those guys lack. He is more aggressive. Maidana is a wild child. He isn't going to stand on the outside and try to outbox Mayweather. He's going to get close and try to knock Mayweather's head off. Lastly, Maidana throws unorthodox punches that a classical boxing defense isn't set up for.

Way better then Pacquiao-Rios, and I like this fight better then Mayweather-Ortiz or Guerrero, which were legit fights as well.

Maidana is coming off 3 decent/solid wins at 147, is a title holder, and should be a Top 5 WW.

This is a solid good fight for anyone from 140-147.....anyone
