After months of saying Khan was a lock to get the Mayweather fight I am very happy to be wrong. Mayweather made the right choice. It's champion vs. champion and not a cherry pick at all. Khan quit your damn crying. Mayweather is not ducking you. The way you looked in your last few fights you are about as scary as the Easter bunny. You have done NOTHING to earn a shot at Floyd's welterweight title. You are in shape right now so have Schaefer get you a fight with Brook and you will make more money than you would have made with Floyd. You could also try to prove yourself as a welterweight by fighting Broner, Thurman, or Porter. You could even try to avenge your humiliating 70 seconds of the first round KO loss to Prescott.

But can we not lie and act like the second Maidana beat Broner there were several comments on this very forum stating that Chico could do the same to Floyd if Floyd gave him the fight. Can we at least admit that much? Can we admit that it wasn't until a poll got brought up that people were claiming that Chico would now be a garbage opponent. Boring fight but Maidana deserves it.
Khan can keep crying that he didn't get the fight. Last 4 fights he lost to Garcia and Peterson, and beat Molina and Diaz. That doesn't get you Mayweather.

Well yeah, the options are slim.

Maidana's one of the top guys in Mayweather's weight class and out of the options availble there's not many better IMO.

Thurman and obviously Garica I would have preferred.

It's the best Welter Weight fight that could have been made. Garcia didn't want it and isn't even a welter weight and Thurman would have been ****ted on the very second someone mentions his name next to Floyd. Asking who has he beat? What has he done? Too green. Too slow. Too this and too that.

Then again it doesn't matter who Floyd fights at 147, people will **** all over them.
