  • I am a huge Mayweather fan, but I have to say that all the drama and the delay in announcing his next fight has really turned me off. In fact, I am pissed off that Amir Khan was even considered a possibility for the May 3 fight considering how poorly he has performed lately and the fact that he pulled out of a legitimate challenge against Alexander. All of this crap has turned me off to the point that I am not sure if I will buy this fight unless there are two or three very good undercard matches.

    • Not buying Floyd's trash fights anymore. I'll be pulling for the underdog. Tho the longshots 200 yards behind In a 100 yard dash! I agree tho out of khan and Marcos . Floyd picked the deserving fighter.

That pretty much sums the greasy little ******s up.

        • For all of you that are bashing this fight, do not buy it and do not comment on it. Maidana is 4-1, he beat a undefeated fighter and won a belt. Go on another thread and suck the d*cks of GGG, Lara, Pac, Kovalez and be done. I get it, a lot of you hate Floyd, move on. This fight will sell well. Showtime will be showing AB and Maidana's fight like five times. People know about Marcos, it will at least have 1.3 million buys.
Cong**** to Maidana for earning this fight.

          • I can see Broner having a number of mixed emotions. He is probably thinking A) that he wanted the rematch, B) a part of him would like to see Mayweather win for revenge and C) a part of him hoping Mayweather loses so that it makes his loss show in a better light. Probably a lot going through Broner right now.

Just doesn't make any sense at all.

Obviously I'm glad it's not Khan but it's just ridiculous really, the poll stuff.
They didn't anticipate that other legitimate websites would post up their own polls asking fans to vote.

Yes hes 37 he just fought 23 yr old champion and now hes fighting a legitimate 147 pound champion....

If Khan wants it, stay busy by beating some one of note instead of getting knocked on his ass and squeaking by an old journeymen.

People will always complain but the truth is Canelo and Maidana back to back are both the best fights he could have picked out of available opponents. Sure i'd prefer Lara, who is also deserving, but Maidana is pretty much the second best option.
                      As usual, always on par.
