lara floyd would make donaire vs rigondeaux look like hagler hearns.

please no more cubans as headliners. it will turn people off boxing.

At least maidana will come to fight instead of running around.

Not everybody will agree when I say Floyd vs Lara is a 50/50 fight. I truly believe Lara is the one that has the best chance to beat Floyd and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he does win. Now this fight will never happen cause Lara is not a big name and doesn't have a large fanbase.
Agree with all of this. Some make a case that not only bc Lara is southpaw but his reach can play a major factor. I don't think Floyd has faced, at least recently an opponent with these attributes.

Don't worry Tase, boxing and you the fan are already getting what you ask for: mediocrity. Remember to pay-per-view Canelo vs Angulo.

footwork, ring generalship, speed and power. Lara has landed his left cross time and time again on quality opponents from the opening bell. Wouldn't underestimate him. He is also a HUGE fully blown well acclamated 154lber.

My only qualm with Lara is his trainer. Would love to see him with the likes of Pedro Diaz.

Boxing isnt a charity? Lara should only get paid the tickets he sells if he gets the mayweather fight. They would have to pack the undercard.

True dat wouldn't mind seeing Lara on the undercard.

Danny vs Broner would help it sell too if it happens.

Floyd should open the polls for an undercard too

                ****** statement.

However with the amount of haters Mayweather has, Lara would get rich quick.

It wouldn't be an easy fight for Floyd. Lara knows all of the tactics as Floyd when it comes to fighting on the outside, and he would use his length and reach to his advantage. I think Floyd can shut him down by outworking him in the pocket, but Floyd wouldn't be active enough to do it. Lara's defense on the inside is average or above average, but Floyd doesn't throw enough punches, especially to the body to take advantage of Lara's main weakness.

It'd be a chess fight with both guys jabbing, clinching, and throwing their signature power punch, rinse and repeat. Floyd has the advantage in speed/timing, but Lara has all the physical advantage and he's just as slick when it comes to fighting on the outside.
