The only fights from Floyd that interests me at this point is Floyd vs Pac or GGG at 154.

Nobody watches a Mayweather fight expecting an exciting fight. Mayweather losing some rounds against Lara will bring enough nerve wrecking tension to make up for the lack of action.

This is a good point, and I haven't thought of this yet. Watching Mayweather actually get beat at points would cause enough anxiety and certainly make up for the lack of back and forth action. Good analysis.

The problem is although people want to see Floyd lose they don't want Lara to be the guy to do it. He doesn't have enough fans to get people excited about it.

Say Lara wins, OK now what? He gets the Rigo treatment. He still has a small following, he still doesn't have a fan friendly style, he still doesn't speak English and nobody would care. And Showtime would lose an incredible amount of money considering they are married to Floyd for 3 more fights.

                This is gonna blow.
Lara was on the verge of losing to Angulo before Angulo quit. No way does he deserve a fight against Mayweather. But, if he looks as mediocre in his next fight as he did against Angulo, Alvarez may be calling him next.

Lara is the only tough fight out there from 140-154 for Mayweather.

I'm not buying either one so it doesn't bother me.

Every fight fans would rather see Floyd vs Lara because it would be a competitive fight. Floyd vs Maidana is a f_ucking mis-match..

Not everybody will agree when I say Floyd vs Lara is a 50/50 fight. I truly believe Lara is the one that has the best chance to beat Floyd and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he does win. Now this fight will never happen cause Lara is not a big name and doesn't have a large fanbase.
