Article is way off, no fights were scored by social media. The ruling was in the Rudd fight they had to fight an extra round. If in that round judges scored it a draw again it would go to Facebook fans but it did not get that far. Great journalism work smh

Tedy has a tendacy to slant his commentary and scoring to whomever he deems the better fighter or who he picks to win. His prefight analyst was that Rudd was a southern guy with an inflated record that he built fighting in the south. Which is true. But he failed to realize that it was two evenly matched guys that produced an exciting fight. He actually seemed annoyed that Rudd got the decision.

I think it will be Carcamo and Petrov in the final. Carcamo is better than his record indicates and is improving IMO. It's nice to see he hooked up with Diaz. I was reading that Diego Magdaleno was sparring with him and Figueroa but I didn't know he was traing in Palm Springs now. He also never in a dull fight, I hope Carcamo and pull it off.

Oh, okay. Soooo did they incorporated Acelino's last three letter into it? Or..?

Correct, I was raising you my son. I remember dragging your ass to school because you would stay starring at dresses in Macys. Slapped the hell out of you several times for wearing high heels to play basketball. You goddamn unfrateful little punk!!

I may have misunderstood. I can add a note in the follow-up piece.

I like the draw breaker deal. I agree with what the others have stated in this thread, I like Petrov to take it. Liked what I saw from him.

I have tried to shield you from this as long as possible. Sit down and brace yourself, this may be a lil upsetting. Truth is, I was almost your father. But the line was too long.

That's the one thing I don't like. When fighters know exactly where they stand, it changes the fight from true boxing into an attempt to beat the system. That's the same gripe I have with open scoring and amateur boxing. Plus I don't like fighters breaking focus that long and getting back into fight mode. And I'm with Teddy, the idea of the Facebook fans being the final tiebreaker is absurd. If anything, I would've preferred odd numbered rounds to avoid draws like in the Contender.

I'm not sold Carcamo. The guy he he fought was a flatout f.uckin' bum. But I do think he's gonna beat Gonzolaz. Personally, I thought Mendoza beat him and the hometown fighter got a hometown decision.

Odd rounds would have been better. And I agree, the FB scoring is a lil silly. But ultimately, this format is for the fans. Let's be real, none of these boys are gonna be relevant at the highest level of the sport. So the tourney format is nothing but attempt to dress up a bunch of mediocre fighters fighting each other to stir up fan interest. So since its for the fans, f.uck it. Let the fans choose who they wanna see fight.
