I would have preferred seeing Khan reveal how ordinary Floyd can look against an athletic opponent with equal footspeed but the post fight reaction to a Maidana matchup will be more satisfying. Maybe Floyd will cry again like he did at the presser for Baldomir.

khan has looked ordinary and utterly mediocre in his last 4 fights but he's going to make the pound 4 pound best fighter in the world look ordinary. delusional.

Very true. Guys like De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Trinidad, Mosley, Pacquiao and others have used in pursuit of greatness, legacy and P4P ranking.

Yes, Khan would have easily dominated Mayweather and KO'd him.

That's what I was trying to say.

It's only an opinion, so don't get your ******* twisted, but at this point Mayweather should only be fighting champions. The guy holds five belts between two divisions and the WBC created another useless belt (WBC Supreme Champion) just for him. Three of his last four fights were for titles as they should be at this point. Maidana earned his bargaining chips by taking out Broner, and Khan had his chance to gain a bargaining chip and passed on it. Once again it's only my opinion. but he shouldn't even have to think about a #1 contender at this point in his career.

Which brings me to my next point (even though I'll regret it after the barrage of idiocy I'll hear). People, please use that tool located in your head and realize that Floyd has very little to do with not making the Pacquiao fight. If you truly believe that it's anything more than the networks HBO and Showtime not wanting to work together, than you have some learning to do. Showtime is making a strong push to compete with HBO, and neither one of them is going to budge to assist the other. The age old axiom is Follow the money and you'll find the truth. Floyd's only fault in all of it is being all too willing to agitate people and play the bad guy (the promotional tool that he learned at WWE).

The Maidana fight is the right fight and if Khan wants to land the September Mayweather Sweepstakes he should focus on getting a fight with Porter and and working to gain his own bargaining chip.

The man had every right to take a break from boxing considering he has been doing it since he was a child. Wish you people would get over this he went on vacation to duck someone.
Why, health didn't come first in 2007?

If I find you the quote then what? You already making excuses, so what's the point.

As for Floyd trying to make 4 fights with guarantees that is like last year Canelo trying to get a guarantee for a Floyd fight. If Floyd lost then Arum still needs to pay up the guarantee. Just like everyone said for Floyd, fight Margarito the if he wins fight Cotto and so on ..... but to say what he said, that is a good way of getting out of the fights.
