You got it. It's simply. When Floyd fights someone else, haters say he is ducking the people he did not fight and cherry picking the guy he chose to fight. But when he fights the guy he was supposedly ducking, he is now cherry picking.

Exactly! Just a year ago fans we're saying g that Floyd was ducking g khan and wanted no part if him. Now that he is a potential opponent now he is a cherry pick. I mean what changed? That question still had not been answered. And maidana isn't that much deserving for a shot then khan is. Okay he beat broner, a lightweight who barely beat Paulie. The criticism over Khan was too much for Floyd. Dan Rafael in particular did everything he possibly could to throw favor in Maidana's direction during the acute phase of the poll on Mayweather's website.

I would have preferred seeing Khan reveal how ordinary Floyd can look against an athletic opponent with equal footspeed but the post fight reaction to a Maidana matchup will be more satisfying. Maybe Floyd will cry again like he did at the presser for Baldomir.
